Whenever the user in Hacking-Lab shall download and analyze a file (PCAP, Memory Dump, Program) or similar, we consider this as “artefact challenge”.

Small Artefacts < 10 MB

Please add the artefact directly to the challenge description

Large Artefacts > 10 MB

Whenever the user shall download and analyze a larger file, please follow this instructions

1. Create a new file in the Hacking-Lab Resource Editor

2. Copy the newly created UUID

3. Add the newly created UUID as Resource to the challenge in the HL Challenge Editor

Reason

Challenges are stored in a Git project where the Resource Editor uses an AWS S3 bucket store. Thus, you can upload large files via Resource Editor and link them to the challenge.
