VM Management

Introduction

Via the VM Manager you have the possibility to control virtual machines. Virtual machines are regularly restored to their original state, but from time to time it is necessary to perform a manual reset.

Note that you need the Manager role to follow this tutorial.

Control VM state

Creating a new curriculum or event

To create a new event or curriculum, log in to the frontend and navigate to Manager > VM Management > Go To:

Upon opening the Virtual Machines screen, a list of all deployed VMs
is shown. The list shows the VM State and allows you to quickly start,
stop or restart the VM:

Note: This feature might have a negative impact on currently running events and should only be used when problems with the VM instances are observed.
